For those of you who don't know Lauren Taylor, she's the sewing maven that runs the blog Lladybird. She sews, she knits, she has way more patience than I ever will. I kind-of-sorta-not-really met Lauren at the blogger meet-up that I mentioned a while back and this weekend, I spent part of my Saturday afternoon taking photos of her Super Sweet Sewing Studio (1o pts for alliteration!).
Lauren from Old Red Boots was also there and so the whole experience was very fun as the chit chat and chatter was nonstop and entertaining. I always feel kind of weird complimenting people I don't know very well, but I'll go ahead and say that both Laurens were very cool and very nice and I mean that in the sincerest way possible. They would talk to you at a party even though they're way cooler than you and they would offer you the last cupcake before taking it.
I was nervous going into the whole thing because I kept thinking that maybe I wouldn't have anything to say and it would be awful (I should mention that I was on day two of my "get off caffeine" thing so my brain was a little duuuuhh that day), but I had a great time and I used my fancy camera and I'm excited about how the pictures turned out!
Lauren's sewing room is neat and organized and jam packed with awesome things ranging from an Elvis impersonator figurine to a gorgeous Japanese watercolor of cats. Check out the photos after the jump and go over to Lauren's blog to "Lurk her Closet" and see all the beautiful things she's made!
