Learn About Graphic Design

I didn't know much about graphic design growing up. I knew that I liked things that were well designed but I wasn't really sure how to go about becoming one of the people that designed things. I wish I could remember having an Ah-ha! moment where I realized what graphic design was and knew that I wanted to become a graphic designer, but I don't. What I do remember was wanting to learn more about graphic design and feeling like I didn't know where to start. Even after I switched my major and enrolled in design classes at college, I felt like I didn't know where to go to learn more about design.

Here is a short list of resources that I found (and still find) helpful in my life as a graphic designer.
